My name is Stephanie Arblaster and I am a qualified Career & Academic Counsellor with over 20 years experience in career counselling and education. I enjoy working with individuals to help build confidence and knowledge about career options and pathways that are unique, suitable and achievable for you. For many, it can be complex navigating and understanding the systems and strategies to succeed in education, training and achieving your career ambition. I am passionate in helping you sift through the range of options to identify what you can do to succeed.

I am located just south of Brisbane. Currently, all counselling sessions are in-home visits.

Your Path was founded with a simple idea in mind: to provide high-quality, personalised career and academic counselling services to meet your unique needs. That’s why I take the time to understand you on a personal level. Using a holistic approach, together, we uncover the best learning and/or training program pathways and strategies that are personalised and unique to your career ambitions, strengths, values and needs to support your path to success.

I work with a wide range of people to assist them on their career journey. You will be amazed at what can be achieved in just 1 or 2 sessions. Here's how I can help:

School students 

• Career exploration and pathway planning based on individual ambitions, interests and values
• Subject selection guidance from Years 7 through to Year 12
• Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) & Senior Education and Training Plan (SET Plan) guidance 
• Assistance in identifying more suitable learning and/or training programs to achieve the QCE and/or ATAR
• Integrating Vocational Educational Training (VET) and work experience during secondary schooling
• Information and strategies to encourage independent research of different occupations, industries and job prospects
• Assistance with QTAC planning and application 

For those who have more recently finished school

• Exploration of potential career opportunities upon graduation from tertiary studies 
• Guidance with changing programs (at TAFE, University etc) to better align with career ambitions, improving ATAR through study & strategies for maintaining program engagement & completion
• Exploration & evaluation of post-graduate options & opportunities 
• Resume development for entry into a professional role

For those more experienced

• Exploration of new career paths to suit interests, values, change of life
• Recognition of skills, achievements, needs and values to help find the right path and work type
• Resume development for re-entry into the workforce or change of career
• Exploration & evaluation further training or study
